Recruitment Information
Would you like to join us in spreading the Japanese culture of "KIMONO" to the world? VASARA KIMONO is looking for kimono dressers and hair stylists who can help us create a wonderful store by helping our customers create precious memories. We are also always looking for store manager candidates! (New graduates and mid-career employees) No experience necessary! We are also actively promoting employees!
Your duties will include dressing and folding kimonos and yukatas, and reception.
We actively hire people who have only learned kimono dressing at a class and have no practical experience, or people who have had a gap in their work history. Even if you have no experience, as long as you are motivated and energetic, you're OK! There is solid training, so you can rest assured. You can also improve your own skills! ☆We welcome people who can dress men's kimono, Shichi-Go-San, hakama, etc.
I would like to have a hairstyle that matches the Japanese attire. I would like to do hair styling and reception.
If you can do simple hair styling, we will teach you carefully. We also welcome those who want to learn how to dress in kimono. ☆ Those who have obtained a hairdressing license are welcome!
You will be responsible for all management duties including store operations, customer acquisition measures, and staff management.
We will think about what we can do with "kimono + α" and work with part-time staff and the head office to create the best store in the area. We will leave a lot of discretion to you, so you can grow as much as you want, and in the future we will entrust you with business manager and area manager. You can also utilize sales and customer service experience in the food and beverage and apparel industries. Experience in the kimono industry is not required.
If any one of these applies to you,
Please apply!
We are a company that is seriously aiming to become a 100 billion yen company.
We, VASARA KIMONO, were only founded in 2016 and are still a relatively new brand in the kimono industry.
That's why, with values, creativity, and speed that no other company can match, we have developed services that break away from conventional stereotypes, such as promoting ourselves on social media sites like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, a luggage delivery service that allows you to go home empty-handed, and opening stores in train stations!
Thanks to the positive feedback from many people, we have opened our first store in Asakusa, Tokyo in April 2016, and have since expanded to two stores in Asakusa and Kamakura, as well as about 21 stores in tourist spots across the country, such as Kyoto, Nagoya, Kurashiki, and Kanazawa, and in urban areas such as Ginza, Shinjuku, Osaka, and Hakata. In the summer of 2017, we worked with JR East and Sapporo Beer to hold a "Beer Garden in Yukata" event at Busta Shinjuku, which was selected by the Cabinet Office and the Agency for Cultural Affairs as a tourism promotion project beyond 2020. In addition, we have been developing a furisode brand for coming-of-age ceremonies since 2019, called "Furisode VASARA."
If we do this more, we might get more customers to come! If we can dress customers efficiently without making them wait, we might make it easier for them to see and choose kimonos! Let's exchange ideas like these, try them out, and create a store that offers the best service, lineup, and convenience!
Above all, my main job is to increase the number of fans of Japan's pride, the kimono, and VASARA KIMONO.
