Ginza store staff
VASARA Ginza 3-chome store is
This is the third VASARA KIMONO RENTAL store to open, and the first terminal model store. VASARA has opened stores in tourist areas such as Asakusa and Kamakura, so there was some concern as to whether it would be successful in urban areas where demand for formal wear and ceremonial occasions is the main focus. However, the store has now grown into one with many repeat customers, led by Kobayashi.
We spoke to Kobayashi about this.

I was born and raised in Tokyo, an Edokko.
I have been wearing kimono for over 20 years.
-What job did you do before joining the company?
I was involved in business planning for kimono dressing classes, acting as a kimono sales intermediary, and selling kimonos.
-What made you decide to join VASARA?
I've been interested in it since its inception.
They had established a cafe within their kimono rental shop and had very innovative and flexible ideas, so I was very interested in the company and hoped that we might have the opportunity to work together someday.
-What kind of work are you currently in charge of?
Ginza store store operations
-What do you value in your work?
