Recruitment Information

It's not easy, but if you're going to work, it might as well be fun!
Akihabara Store Creative Director
Enomoto-san, from the brand concept of VASARA KIMONO
A designer involved in creating promotional materials such as signs and flyers, as well as websites.
We asked Enomoto about what he values most in terms of creativity,
We asked about your daily work.
-What job did you do before joining the company?
I worked as a graphic designer, just as I do now, at a design firm that produces paper media for railways, theater companies, and complex facilities.
-What made you decide to join VASARA?
Until now, I had mostly worked on design work as an outsourced director, but then I found VASARA on a job-seeking website. I was very attracted to the company's strength of having its biggest client, "in-house design," in-house, and the flexible working environment with people of a similar age, so I decided to join the company.
-What do you value in your work?
The most important thing is "people." People of various generations and different values. With all kinds of opinions being generated, it is impossible for me to determine what "will please the customer" and incorporate it into the design on my own. I believe that the most important creative element is to go to the site, see it with my own eyes, and talk to the staff.
-Please tell us about your future outlook for your business and operations.
While reflecting what we have cultivated so far in the company, we will continue to absorb many new things in order to find a more "VASARA-like" identity.
In the future, I would like to work hard to become a director and be able to bring together the entire creative team.
-What has been the most difficult episode so far?
Immediately after joining the company, I was tasked with producing all of the creative content for VASARA 's new store openings, and I struggled to come up with ideas.
Kimono is a good old fashioned thing, but if you only use that, it will be lost. I started by gathering information on how to combine it with new things, and now I look back fondly on how I persevered with my experience.
-What is the happiest episode that has happened to you so far?
After a meeting with the manager in charge, I got the OK for the creative idea right away (laughs).
-What do you want new employees to value?
I hope you will value communication with people in your company and continue to increase the number of your friends.
Furthermore, I would like to ask that you create your work with the premise that design is not simply a matter of creating a design, but rather about continually appealing to the customer's emotions.
-What's your favorite food?
carbohydrates
-What is your favorite travel destination?
Hokkaido
-What are your hobbies and special skills?
DJ
-Please give a message to those who are considering applying.
I believe that VASARA is a company that will meet the expectations of those who want to grow themselves while witnessing the intense, dense growth of the work.
I'm a designer, but there are many other opportunities at VASARA. I know that a company I don't know is an unknown world, but I really think that I've found a company that is attractive enough to me in my late 30s. If you're going to work, it's good to have fun. It's not easy, but I think there's more to it than that, so I hope you'll join us with excitement.
