I want to go leaf-viewing in a kimono with my beloved partner! Here are some recommended spots to see the autumn leaves around Asakusa!

Hello! It's Mo.

It's been getting cold lately! You can't survive the cold season without keeping yourself warm with a thick coat and a scarf. Autumn is all about the autumn leaves!

I can't help but enjoy the changing of the seasons.

I want to try all the autumn foods (lol). By the way, I've tried potatoes, chestnuts, and pears. I haven't tried pumpkin yet. I have to (lol). But I can't miss the autumn leaves.

The red leaves of autumn are so beautiful, aren't they? I absolutely love autumn.

If you want to do something different from usual!!! We recommend that you wear a kimono and enjoy the autumn leaves around Asakusa with your loved one! Wear a kimono and have an extraordinary experience.

*Ushijima Shrine

Ushijima Shrine is a 12-minute walk from VASARA Kimono Rental Asakusa main store.

It is located very close to Azumabashi Station.

If you like collecting temple stamps, we recommend getting one. They will carefully write "Ushijima Shrine" on it.

There is also a wide variety of fortune slips available, including glass bead fortune slips, triangular fortune slips, love letter fortune slips, etc. It would be wonderful to draw a love letter fortune slip and have your fortune told together!!

The ginkgo tree beside the torii gate of Ushijima Shrine is colored yellow and is very beautiful!!! It is also recommended to take a photo of the ginkgo tree and Tokyo Skytree side by side with your loved one.

There is a "Nadeushi" (a cow that caresses the cow) in the precincts. It is said that if you touch the part of your body that is bothering you with the same part on the cow, you will be cured. I wanted to have thinner legs, so I touched the cow's legs, and then I wanted to lose belly fat, so I touched my stomach, and then... I ended up touching the cow's entire body (lol).

Please tell your beloved lover about "Nadeshiko"!!!

Sanyabori Park

Sanyabori Park is a park located near Asakusa Station, a 13-minute walk from VASARA Kimono Rental Sensoji store.

This park was originally a waterway connecting the Otonashi River in Oji with the Sumida River.

It is said that during the Edo period, people would travel along this waterway to visit the Yoshiwara red-light district in small, long, open boats called chokibune.

In spring, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and in autumn you can enjoy the autumn leaves.

The best time to see the autumn leaves is usually from mid-November to mid-December. During the "Sanyabori Autumn Leaves Corridor" event, which is held at the end of November every year, when the leaves are lit up, rickshaws and chokibune (boar's tusk boats), which are long and narrow boats with no roofs, are set up in the garden. You can take some fascinating photos.

It is also recommended to take a photo of the tree-lined street and the Skytree together.

This is the best place to take photos wearing a kimono.

You can take photos with a retro feel!!! It matches perfectly with the Japanese atmosphere!!!

* Sumida Park

Sumida Park is an 11-minute walk from the VASARA Kimono Rental Shop in front of Asakusa Station.

This park is located along the Sumida River. It is beautifully decorated with cherry blossoms in spring, the Sumida River Fireworks Festival in summer, and autumn leaves in autumn.

Some people have picnics when the weather is nice.

On days when you're not wearing a kimono, it would be nice to lay out a picnic sheet with your loved one, bring a packed lunch, and have a picnic!!!

The autumn leaves are usually lit up from early to mid-November.

At night, the lights of the Skytree and the city are reflected on the water, creating a truly beautiful sight.

If you're wearing a kimono, it would be nice to have your beloved partner take a photo of you from behind!!!
