【plum】
This plant has been revered since ancient times because it blooms before any other plant in the cold, with its fragrant flowers. It is also considered an auspicious motif.

【cherry blossoms】
It is a representative spring flower that has been loved since ancient times. Recently, apart from realistic motifs, it has become increasingly common to wear it all year round.

【camellia】
This motif has been favored as it is a sacred tree that heralds the arrival of spring, and the flower designed to resemble a military fan is called Enshu camellia.

【iris】
It is still customary to use this plant as a talisman during the May festival. It is often depicted in landscapes such as Gosho-kai patterns, or on its own.

[Aoi]
The two-leaf hollyhock leaf is used as a pattern. There are various shapes and combinations, and the three-leaf hollyhock, which represents three leaves, is famous as a pattern of the Tokugawa family.
