[Enjoy spring break with a student discount] Recommended for sightseeing in Asakusa. Have fun wearing a cute kimono!

With the spring break season upon us, students are probably planning to go cherry blossom viewing. Wouldn't you like to have a special cherry blossom viewing experience that's not just about drinking lots of alcohol? For students like you, we recommend renting a kimono and going cherry blossom viewing in a kimono. This time, we will introduce recommended cherry blossom viewing spots in Asakusa, where you can wear a cute kimono using a student discount.

●Why is kimono cherry blossom viewing recommended now?

1. If you wear a kimono, you can take a photo anywhere and it will look great on Instagram

Kimono is not something you usually wear. That's why it's easy to create a different atmosphere than usual. For example, as in this photo, even though you're just sitting on a chair, it feels special compared to normal photos. Try taking a casual moment and taking a photo that looks great on Instagram. This year's cherry blossoms are expected to bloom around March 21st (Thursday) in Tokyo. (This site was used as a reference for cherry blossom forecast information. https://jp.zekkeijapan.com/article/index/493/) Many students will hold welcoming and farewell parties while enjoying cherry blossom viewing, so I think it would be even more fun if everyone wore kimonos.

2. If you wear kimonos, everyone will look the same

Although kimonos come in different colors and patterns, there is no big difference between them as traditional Japanese clothing. If multiple people wear kimonos together, they will have the same experience as each other, which will help deepen friendships.

●Kimono rental VASARA 's student discount service is great value for money

The student discount service at Kimono Rental VASARA is different from that of general kimono rental stores. This is because, in the case of student discounts at kimono rental stores, you are required to choose a student discount plan made for students. However, on the other hand, in addition to the student discount plan, there are many other discount plans that are made individually, making it difficult to know which one is the best deal. The student discount at Kimono Rental VASARA is not difficult to understand. Students, including graduates, from the list of schools listed in the URL below will receive a 1,000 yen discount off the regular price when making a reservation by phone. This is a flat rate, so calculations and reservations are easy. Rental and dressing are all included in the package, and hair styling is free if you put a hairpin on top of the bun, making it a very advantageous and convenient student discount service.

●Lots of cute kimonos

VASARA Kimono Rental is constantly stocking new kimonos, and we have many new kimonos available. We wash our kimonos every day to keep them clean, so you can wear these cute kimonos with peace of mind. We have a website where you can view a list of kimonos, so please take a look.

●Recommended cherry blossom viewing spots in Asakusa

Now that you've gotten your kimono on at a student discount, where should you go? Here are some cherry blossom viewing spots in Asakusa that are perfect for this time of year.

・Sumida Park (Taito Ward side)

It is the most popular cherry blossom viewing spot in Asakusa and has been selected as one of the 100 best cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan. The cherry blossoms in Sumida Park date back to the Edo period, when the 8th shogun, Tokugawa Yoshimune, planted them. Approximately 600 cherry trees are planted on the Taito Ward side. As an event, the Sumida Park Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from March 21st to April 7th. The cherry trees will be lit up from sunset until 10:00 p.m., making it the perfect spot for cherry blossom viewing.

・Sumida Park (Sumida Ward side)

There are two Sumida Parks, one on the Taito side (where Sensoji Temple is) and the other on the Sumida side (where Tokyo Skytree is), and you can see about 300 cherry trees here. They are planted along the Sumida River, so it's perfect for casual cherry blossom viewing while walking. For example, we recommend taking a photo of the cherry trees lined up in a row at Azumabashi Bridge, located right next to Asakusa Station, with the cherry blossoms in the background.

・Yamayabori Park

Sanyabori Park, located near the Sumida River, is a little-known cherry blossom viewing spot in Asakusa. With the cherry blossoms in bloom, you can see Tokyo Skytree right in front of you, so you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing and the towering Tokyo Skytree at the same time. It's easier to find a spot here than Sumida Park, so if you want to enjoy cherry blossom viewing casually, this is the place to go.

·Tokyo Sky Tree

Cherry trees are also planted at the base of Tokyo Skytree, and they turn a vibrant pink in March. In addition to the cherry blossoms, Tokyo Skytree also hosts spring events, such as screening special spring-only videos at the SKYTREE ROUND THEATER on observation deck floor 350, and at night, Tokyo Skytree is illuminated with special spring-only lighting. These are great to enjoy along with the cherry blossoms at night.
