The 22m-tall giant Christmas tree is a popular landmark. This year's pedestal expresses the charm of France through flowers and music, in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Friendship Treaty between Kyoto and Paris. The aerial walkway, which offers a panoramic view of Kyoto city, also has a different atmosphere than usual, allowing you to take a wonderful aerial stroll.

The illuminations, carefully arranged around the metasequoia trees, will create the effect of a tunnel of light. ●Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Gardens, the oldest in Japan

The autumn leaves that spread across the vast grounds are magnificent, but at Christmas they take on a completely different look. The symbol of the botanical gardens, the "Campus Tree Line," is transformed into an enchanting space with the combination of music and lighting. The 20m-tall trident maple Christmas tree beside the fountain is mystical, and the way the tree's lights are reflected on the surface of the fountain is truly breathtakingly beautiful. This dignified world that is not too flashy is sure to make for an enjoyable evening stroll.
