This is a reasonable plan recommended for those who want to easily experience wearing a kimono in Asakusa. This plan is suitable for those who like kimonos in subdued colors.
This set includes everything you need for a kimono, such as a kimono kimono, obi, kimono bag, and sandals, so it is recommended for beginners who want to try wearing a kimono at least once. There is also an option for a hairstyling option, so you can enjoy a hairstyle that matches your kimono. A hairpin is also included in the plan, so you can coordinate your entire outfit!

The estimated time for preparation for two people is about 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours.

The last time to dress is 17:00.
The return deadline is 17:30.
If you return the item after 5:30 p.m., you will be charged a late fee of 1,100 yen (tax included) per item.
・Next day returns will cost 2,200 yen (tax included) per person. Please return by 17:30 the day after rental.
・You can also return the item by mail, which costs 4,400 yen (tax included) per person. Please arrange for shipping by the day after the rental.
We will explain the process of renting and returning a kimono at our shop in an easy-to-understand manner even for first-time customers. To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend that you make a reservation in advance.
Please also check the return time and cancellation policy carefully.
Please make a reservation for your desired date and time via the online reservation form or LINE. If there is availability, we can accommodate you on the day, but it is more reliable to make a reservation in advance. Reservations for the day can be made by phone.
When you make a reservation online, you can choose the kimono or yukata that suits your plan, and you can even pay by card. Therefore, if you make a reservation online in advance, you won't need to pay on the day, and the reception will be smooth.
If you wish to cancel, please use the reservation cancellation form. Depending on the plan, a cancellation fee may be charged. Please be sure to check "Please tell me about cancellations" on the FAQ page before making your reservation.
Please come to the store you made your reservation at about 5 minutes before the reservation time. If you don't know where it is, please feel free to call us and we will guide you.
Please note that we will ask you to present identification (driver's license, student ID, residence card, etc.) at the reception to verify your identity.
Once the reception is complete, you can move on to dressing. Our experienced staff will help you dress from the undergarment (kimono undergarment) to the obi belt. Dressing takes about 20 minutes per person. (*Except during peak hours)
The estimated time required from reception to departure is about one hour per person, including the time it takes to choose a kimono and accessories. If you are coming with multiple people, please plan your reservation time to be around one and a half to two hours.
Once you have been dressed, we will move on to hair styling. We offer a variety of hair styling options, from free plans to paid plans that will enhance your kimono, such as braiding and flower decorations.
Since you'll be wearing a kimono, why not also pay special attention to your hair style?
Please choose the accessories you would like to put in the pouch and then your kimono dressing will be complete. We also have other accessories available, such as rain umbrellas, parasols, and maiko umbrellas, that will make your kimono look even more attractive.
Please note that we are unable to store valuables, so please place them in a drawstring bag. We also have a large Japanese style bag available as an option, which can fit a cosmetic pouch or a large wallet, so please feel free to ask.
Once you're ready, enjoy sightseeing and dining. There are many tourist attractions in the area, including Sensoji Temple.
If you take the subway from Asakusa Station, you can also access Tokyo Skytree and Ueno Park. We can also provide suggestions on the best way to get around, so please feel free to ask our staff.
Please return the items by the final return time (17:30).
Generally, you will need to return the kimono at the dressing store, but you can also return it at another store for an additional fee of 3,850 yen per kimono. If you would like to return the kimono at another store, please let us know before you leave.
If you do not make it in time for the final return, a late fee of 1,100 yen per item will be charged. Also, we do not accept returns after business hours (after 18:00), so please return by the final return time (17:30) the following day. In that case, you will be charged an accommodation fee of 2,200 yen per night per item. Thank you for your understanding.
At VASARA, we offer location photo plans at all stores. Standard 1-hour course is 30,800 yen (tax included) for 50 shots. On weekends and holidays, it is an additional 5,500 yen (tax included).
Once you make a reservation, a photographer will accompany you to the location of your choice. The photos will be retouched and delivered in about a week.
If there is availability, you can make a reservation on the day. You can also make a reservation online up to 2 hours before your visit. Last minute reservations can be made by phone.
Sorry, we do not apply makeup to junior high school students or older. Lip and cheek makeup is available as an extra fee for children's plans only.
Please bring your ID with you on the day. If you forget, you will not be able to rent. Please present your driver's license, passport, residence card, My Number card, student ID, health insurance card, etc.
