■The "Enmusubi Wind Chimes" at Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine will make you want to go in a yukata this summer■
[Highlight 1] Wind Chime Corridor
During the event, the "Wind Chime Corridor" is decorated with many wind chimes, making it a popular photo spot that goes perfectly with yukata. All the wind chimes are handmade by artisans, so taking a photo of yourself walking through the colorful corridor is sure to look great.

You can also get a tanzaku (strip of paper) for an offering of 300 yen at the shrine office inside Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine. If you write your wish on this tanzaku, you can hang it on one of the Edo wind chimes hanging in the shrine grounds.

[Highlight 2] Illuminated River
The Wind Chime Corridor is also a must-see, as it is lit up at night between 6:30 and 8pm.
Unlike the colorful wind chimes during the day, the atmosphere at night is magical.
At the same time, the stream that runs through the temple grounds will be lit up as part of the "Glowing River" event. The light particles shining in the stream will light up the summer nights in a mysterious way.

At VASARA Kimono Rental, you can extend your stay until 5:30pm the following day with the "Next Day Return (optional)" option, so you can enjoy the event until late into the night.

[Highlight 3] Tai Fortune Telling
If you visit Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine, you should definitely try the Tai Mikuji fortune telling.
The fortune slips at Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine are called "Tai Mikuji" and are cute lucky charms with a fortune slip inside the tail of a sea bream. Even children can enjoy fishing for sea bream with a fishing rod. Why not try your luck with the playful Tai Mikuji? Depending on the time of year you visit, there are also light blue and purple colors available for a limited time only.

Why not wear a yukata and visit Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine with your loved ones this year to make some summer memories?
