[Kurashiki] Special public viewing of Yurinso on this day only: "A Scene in a Lifetime"

Thank you very much for your continued patronage of VASARA Kimono Rental.

On Saturday, March 9th, Yurinso will be open to the public, allowing visitors to enjoy the magnificent view of Yurinso lit up in the gentle lights of spring.

Yurinso was the private residence of Ohara Magosaburo, the founder of the Ohara Museum of Art, a modern building that Kurashiki is proud of, and was completed in 1928 (Showa 3) as a second home for the Ohara family, who were merchants in Kurashiki.
For a long time it was closed to the public, but since 1997, the Ohara Museum of Art has hosted special exhibitions and other events.
Born out of family love and with ingenuity in every detail worked into the work by talented modern Japanese architects, this unique architectural value is treasured and passed down to the present day.

The view of the townscape of the scenic area at dusk from the second floor of the house is spectacular. Inside the house, you can spend a quiet time immersed in SP records.
